Rib Fest

Rib Fest came through Omaha, and of course Adam and I had to go!  It was a fun little outing and we ran into a bunch of our law school friends!!

San Diego Adventures

Over the summer (I know, a while ago), my family and I went to San Diego for my cousin's wedding.  It was absolutely beautiful there: the weather was perfect, the venue (La Jolla cove) was beautiful, and my family is always a blast.  I love getting to spend time with all my cousins! My uncles are pretty crazy too :)

The wedding was at the hotel, so it was just a walk up the stairs!

Almost everyday was the same: wake up fairly hungover, rally, walk along the strip until you run into a Cavanagh, then grab a drink (or five) with them till the next event!!

 

 

Their rehearsal dinner was more of just a poolside gathering, which was a great way for everyone to chill out after a day of flights and catch up!

These are my uncles.  They are never serious, don't let their faces fool you.

I know I'm biased, but my cousins are pretty much the greatest.  Hands down.

Then of course there's the sibling love!

I didn't get too many pictures of the actual wedding, but about a half hour into the dance, the DJ brought out a huge box of props!!  I'm totally stealing that idea for my wedding! (our wedding, sorry Adam!)

Late night cousin romps were always in order.  Turns out La Jolla does not have a night life on Tuesdays.  We made it happen anyway!!

I was much too busy to get too many pictures, including the bride and groom I guess.  But it was a trip that will not soon be forgotten.  I can't wait to see all these faces again in May at my our wedding!!

Christmas Card Shots!

My brother and his wife are two of the most photogenic people I know.  For those of you who have seen a lot of my posts, you know that I love hanging out with them and get awesome shots with them often!  Before going to the Sweat Shop Date Night, we did a little photo shoot around their house (which includes a badass treehouse!), and here are some of the best ones :)

Sweatshop Date Night!

Wow. Summer has flown by! I can't believe it's been a month since I last posted! The bar exam is now over, and I'm currently just playing the waiting game, so I guess it's time to catch up on my photos.

My brother and some of our friends own an art gallery in Benson, one of the most up and coming areas in town. They recently had a date night auction, and the winners were rewarded with a three course meal from Lot 2, a restaurant with the most scrumptious food that aims to be local and sustainable (awesome, right?!). I literally devoured every single thing put in front of me. It wasn't pretty.

Most of the dates dressed in pairs, and had themes! Sarah and Jamie were quite trashy, and continuously had inappropriate fights in the middle of the restaurant! (Don't worry, the whole place was rented out)

Alex (who was my lucky date) took couple phtos of everyone, and I really can't wait to see the finished product. They were pretty amusing!

One couple showed up in regular outfits, then went into the gallery and came out having switched a clothing item from the other! The guy is on the left in the skirt :)
