Ladies' Craft Night Version 2.0

I started Ladies' Craft Night a few months ago to break up the week and enjoy some crafty time with my ladies, duh! We usually keep it pretty simple, bring your knitting, cross-stitching, what have you, and just drink some wine and chat.  But this week, we switched things up a bit!

One of my more artistic friends painted a picture and were created our own painting and wine night!  She taught us how to paint the picture, and we each painted it in our own style!

Pig had to get involved, of course.  Luckily, he didn't walk through any of the paint, though!

The paintings turned out so great!!  I can't wait to figure out where I'm going to hang it.  I'm an artist!!

Let's Play Catch-up Part 2: Halloween

Most Halloweens, I try to go over to Corey's mom's house, because it's her favorite holiday and she decorates her house to the max!  It's so much fun to see the kids and watch the hoards of costumes that come across her front porch.
Getting all four of these kids into one picture is an impossible task, so while this is slightly blurry, it's the best I've got!

Tierney snapped a picture of my cowgirl costume, and Ashbury was dressed up as a gnome!!  It was so dang cute!

We had game night later in the week, and Olive was just too cute to pass up.  She had eaten some sort of sticky mess and looked like a homeless gypsy child.  Her parents cleaned her up soon after, don't worry.

And then there's my furry child, who has taken to turning his bed upside and hiding underneath it, or running while he's underneath it, which is hilarious.

Let's Play Catch-up Part 1: We Passed the Bar!

In September, Adam and I found out we passed the bar!  We are both full fledged practicing attorneys.  It's pretty exciting!  Here are a few pictures from the day we got sworn in to the Nebraska bar.

Sarah came down and joined us for the swearing in, and for the festivities afterward.

In October, the whole family got together for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Walk called "Light the Night."  It was freezing, but we always put a team together for my dad!
